Maths Competitions & Celebrations
At Limes Farm Infant School & Nursery, we are celebrating our successes in Maths with a new competition.
Using our new Key Instant Recall Facts (KIRF's), you can now now showcase your learning to receive a certificate during Celebration Assembly! Can you beat the clock?
In class, you will be given a mini check up once per week. This will be with a timer! If you can answer all the questions correctly, you will become a 'Mathematician of the Week' and receive a prestigious certificate! This will take place during our well established Celebration Assembly on a Friday.
The Marvellous Mathematicians will then be entered into a very special prize draw.
At the end of each half term, 4 children will be selected randomly to enjoy a problem solving team morning. This will be run by Miss Stevens, in an Escape Room style, during School hours. Your Maths adventure morning will include snacks, fun and prizes along the way!
So children, keep practising and hopefully I'll be presenting you with certificates and rewards very soon!
