Hello π
Next week is all about looking after our mental health π§ ! For both children and grown up's π©βπ¦βπ¦π¨βπ¦
Mental Health Awareness Week is beginning on 1st February 2021 and at Limes Farm Infant School and Nursery, π we want to celebrate π!
Teachers π©βπ« will be adding lots of learning activities around this, next week. Mrs Jonker has shared with us some great resources and websites.
At the moment, times are toughπ. We can't be together as we usually would. We are all missing family members, friends and our usual routines. There is a lot of extra pressure when working from home,π¨π½βπ» for both adults and kids alike.
How someone looks on the outside doesnβt necessarily reflect how they are truly feeling on the inside, so it is important to always be kind and think of others.βοΈ
We recognise this and want us all to come together as a community, to support one another. There is strength and power in numbersπͺ.
On Wednesday, staff, children and their parents/carers can join us in a special challenge to raise awareness. Turn an item of clothing inside out π and share, to get important conversations started. No one should be embarrassed π about how they feel.
Let's get talkingπ£!
Show off your inside out looks by sending in a photo πΈ or video on Wednesday 3/2! Your child may even be featured on our School Website π¨π»βπ»!
Please make sure you email any photos to:
alanna.stevens@limesfarm-inf.essex.sch.uk
Finally, we want to encourage you and your children to take sometime away from the screen and ease the working from home pressures. π±π
Each week, your Class Teacher will be offering Screen Free learning activities. More information will be provided by your child's class teacher, on your Class Story.
Thank you π for taking the time to read this message and please keep safe and well. If you want some more information, help or links to more support, have a look here:

We can get through this, together! π
