The school serves a diverse catchment area encompassing many nationalities. The school site includes the Junior School and Forest Independent Primary Collegiate which is a teacher training centre. We are part of the Epping Forest Consortium group of local schools.
The school is single storey built in the 1970s although much refurbishment work has been undertaken to enhance the facilities. We have a large hall, which doubles as a dining room, and six class bases. There is one class housed in a demountable classroom. We also have a computer suite and a separate library.
The Nursery is in the main building although it has a separate entrance. Our delicious school meals are cooked on site in a kitchen which we share with the adjoining Junior School.
The site includes a large grassed area for fine weather with a tyre play area and a wooden play equipment installation. There is plenty of hard play for the winter where the children can use play equipment and role play resources.
The reception classes have their own outdoor area which is well equipped to support all areas of the Early Years curriculum.
