The most important symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19) are recent onset of any of the following:

  • a new continuous cough
  • a high temperature
  • a loss of, or change in, your normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)

For most people, COVID-19 will be a mild illness. However, if you have any of the symptoms above, stay at home and arrange to have a test to see if you have COVID-19 – go to testing to arrange.

2020 - Essential Worker Information

If you are an Essential Worker you may apply to have your children come into school under this category (albeit subject to Headteacher approval). However, you should know that if you have someone who is at home then your child should remain with that person.

Also, children are placed in an Essential Worker bubble. This has children ranging from Nursery to Year 2 and are taught a very similar curriculum.  There are no toys, no sand and no exploration learning. Please consider whether it is appropriate for your child to attend, and if you have an alternative it is better for your child to have that.
