Today your child will be learning to recognise and name some objects special to Sikhs and explain the importance of these objects.
Ask your child f the remember the names of some of the religions we have learnt about in R.E – revise the work we have learnt about Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam.
Explain that today we will be learning about another religion. Introduce the Sikh religion and its symbol – the Ik Onkar and the Kandha on the PowerPoint and discuss.
