Today in RE we will be learning to recognise and name objects that are special to Christians and explain the importance of these objects.
Remind your child of the work we completed last week where we discussed objects that are special to us and explained why they are special. We know that other people also have special objects which have a special meanings to them to.
What objects do you think a Christian would find important and special?
Look at the PowerPoint and discuss each of the items together and why these are important to Christians. (Cross, crucifix, rosary, Bible, prayer book, statue, baptism certificate, palm cross).
