World Book Day

World Book day Photos

This year World Book Day takes place on Thursday 7th March 2024. At Limes Farm Infant School and Nursery we plan on celebrating the day by dressing up and celebrating our love of reading.

 

We will be having a special assembly so the children can show their outfits to their peers. Please click on the your child's year group above to see photos from the day.

 

We want to promote a love of reading and hope that our day of stories and special World Book Day events will help to do this.

Take a look at the books that are available with the World Book Day token.

Your class teacher will hand out a Wolrd Book Day token to your child.

 

The £1/€1.50 book tokens can then be swapped for one of our exclusive, new and completely FREE World Book Day books available from participating booksellers or used to get £1 off (€1.50 off in Ireland) any full price book or audiobook instead (as long as the book or audiobook costs at least £2.99 (or €3.99 in Ireland). The World Book Day £1/€1.50 books are a gift from booksellers, who fully fund the cost of the £1/€1.50 book token redemptions. Please note that the token cannot be redeemed online.
