Green Fingers
This half term I topic will be Green Fingers. We will be learning all about how things grow!
In English we will be looking at these texts
In Science we will labelling parts of a plant and parts of a tree. We will learn that some trees are deciduous and some are evergreen. We will learn to recognise and name different types of trees, garden and wild flowers. Please take a look at our Science knowledge organiser below.
In Geography we will be learning about the UK. We will learn to name the four countries within it as well as their capital cities. We will learn to locate each country on a map and recognise each of their flags. In addition we will also learn about their surrounding seas.

In art we be looking at the artist Van Gogh. We will recreate his famous piece "Sunflowers" we will be using lines and pastels in our work.
