Spring 1 - Ciao Italia
Welcome to Spring 1!
The children are going to be learning all about Italy.
In English we are going to honing our writing skills by writing fact files and our own adventures. We will be learning about La Befana, an Italian tradition celebrated on Epiphany. We will be delving into what it is like to live in Italy and even learning some Italian! The children will also be reading Pinocchio and developing their story writing skills!
In Maths, we will be focusing on Multiplication and Division, this half term. The children will be learning the strategies of sharing and using arrays, to help them answer questions. Our focus will be the 2,5 and 10 times tables.
