Nursery follow the same literacy scheme as the rest of the school , this is called Little Wandles and the sessions begin in Spring term 1.
The Little Wandles Early Years Foundations for phonics includes exploration of language development, story reading, phonological awareness and oral blending in Nursery. This takes place in two smaller groups twice a week during the carpet session.
