  • Online Safety - Halloween

    Tue 13 Oct 2020

Autumn is in the air and the promise of fun at Halloween can be exciting time for the children.

Of course, Covid -19 restrictions may also be changing the way we have celebrations.

There is more and more talk of Halloween celebrations being taken online, this year. This is due to the restrictions.

Can we ask that Parents and Carers are extremely vigilant over the October period. Keep talking with your child about Online Safety and always monitor their usage.

If your child does come across something distressing, or talk with a stranger online, make sure you address this immediately. Speak to your child's school and keep having conversations about Online Safety.

A great resource for you to use is

Have a great time if you are celebrating. Please stay safe in person AND online!

  • Tik Tok - Warning

    Tue 08 Sep 2020

Could Parents please be aware of an online safety issue that has just come to my attention.

If your child is a user of ‘Tik Tok’, could you please stop them using the app for the coming days.

There is a distressing video being shared on the ‘FYP’ (for you page) and many children are being traumatised by the footage.

Tik Tok are currently trying to remove this video but it is trending. This will take time.

If you believe your child may have seen this video, please let school staff know.

    Thank you
